2020 vintage. La Tour Carnet was already the biggest Grand Cru Classé, but with the acquisition of Caronne-Sainte-Gemme and Labat it could become a massive 240 hectares estate. As usual a well-made wine, but not nearly as good as the 2019. With its jammy fruit and smokey oak it will appeal to many people's palate, but it is one-dimensional and boring. It definitely lacks soul. You can find it in Lidl for 29,50 euro. Abv. 13,5%.
