Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, France
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Top Notes For
Not yet at peak. Could go another 5-10 easily.
Incredibly, still very dark purple for a 12 year old wine. Almost no signs of age on first glance. The tannins have started to softened out a bit. It is just beginning its next phase of evolution. Solid value in a haut medoc.

While 2006 was a tough year for bourdeaux, this Medoc was a pretty wine, very drinkable. Inky w/ clear berry fruit with middle of the road tannins. Nice meat with a bit of smoke after.
