Aged for 14 months in French oak (40% new). Dark plum red with dark berry fruit aromas, herb and spice, nothing overpowering. On the palate sweet black fruit flavors and cacao notes. Fine tannins, rich and full, lingering, mineral ending, great now.

Dark ruby red with slight orange hue. Red/ black plum, blackberry, dried cherry, subtle oak note such as cinnamon, all spice, dried prune, med plus to high alcohol, med plus acidity, med to med plus tannin. Beautiful on the nose. Med plus finish. Quite beautiful. Could be more tasty in 2020.

People may say that 2011 was a horrible year. But this Bordeaux is drinking very nicely. Definitely a nice addition to a steak dinner, hell, maybe even a little BBQ. Easy drinking and not bad for the price!

Drinking very nicely for a vintage that has not had great record of compliments. Nice blend that has silky flow of currant.

The 2011 is showing quite nicely. Typical Saint Emilion style from start to finish. Excellent find.

Ahhh. Bordeaux at its best! Del dark tannins but beautifully opened up into dark balanced fruit and then slowly lingering away along a Fall path of dark earthy tones.
