Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Still showing some overt oak but also good integration and flavor depth. Meaty yet fresh fruit.

Classic right bank, great blue fruit and clove flavors. 85/15 merlot/Cab Franc. This was quite young but still was good. Bet it will be better in 5 -7 years.

Baked fruit, cloves & spice, earthy, savory.

Fruit forward. Black cherry, plum, cassis, and earth. M acid, body, m/M+ tannin. Bitter dark chocolate and coffee. M finish.

It was closed - should have let it breath some air much longer. We had this after a fully mature Pomerol and this was probably mistake. Too much tannins and felt shallow. Black fruits and spicies. I will leave it to cellar for some years. Needs more time.

Too young to drink. Barnyard and pepper on the nose.

Lovely way to drink in dads birthday. Solid Pomerol. Balanced and full of flavor.
