From the Right Bank of the Gironde River in St Emilion, dark Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits with spicy notes. In the palate flavors of blackberry and plum flavors with espresso and smoky cacao notes. Firm ripe tannins ending with a medium spicy finish. Good now’

Deep Ruby, mostly Merlot blend, with simple aromas of red berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate black fruits spicy notes. Lively acidity, firm tight tannins, short finish. Just ok! Drink now!!

From the Estager family. With
patience, this wine unwinds nicely, with black cherry/plum fruit and a fresh earthiness, with modest oak (25% new barrels). For me, this sets the benchmark for affordable right bank wine.

Earthy, soft, complex. Rich in terroir and with fully matured tannins. dry red fruit tobacco and earth predominate the palette with dry tart cherry and rust on the finish. At this age it has limited appeal but delivers in complexity and elegance.

Nice earthy aromas, more truffle than wet soil, with flavors of blackberry and plum. Decent concentration and soft tannins.

Dark fruit in the nose with plums and toast in the palate. With Carmella cheese, it enhanced the flavor and also brought out almonds. Drank the 2016 in 2024 and it was very enjoyable.

Very nice Bordeaux wine from St Emilion. 80% Merlot, Rich ruby color with great taste of cherry and nice lingering taste in the palate. Did pair well with prime rib. At almost 8 years, very nice balance. Drank December 2013.
