1 person found it helpfulAug 29th, 2017Dark blood red color; oakpowered nose with black- and redcurrants, green bell pepper, and hints of strawberry and cedar swamp; in the mouth the structure is made up of fairly high alcohol and acid levels and robust tannins, the oak is prominent, the finish solid, and I am left with a satisfying impression of a well-balanced wine - that works great with pizza.

Oct 26th, 2015One of those "wish I'd bought more at the time" wines. 95 vintage. Drinking well. Think it was $14.99 when purchased.
