Duo de Conseillante Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

No specific notes but very nice merlot bottle that does not carry the hot notes of the vintage.

IWM. A little harsh second label.

2015 vintage. Sweet upfront velveteen action followed with a kapow! on a 45-second finish.

Soft and lush but full bodied. You can really taste the suppleness if the Merlot. Light on the gravel/rocky Bordeaux flavors I like.

2nd wine of Conseillante @ £32 & another good 2014 2nd Pom like VCC 👍 Easy drinking decent effort that's nothing over complex but drinks well young 👍

👃 Mineralised light spiced plum & dark cherry w/ dark red & blue flowers & bursting juicy plump blueberries

👄 Med body of slight sweet blackcurrant, dark plum, cherry & blueberry - good fruit & touch fine dry

🎯 Med slight sweet dark plummy/cherry fruit w/ a hint of dryness

Wow, very lovely, full bodied red. Had the bouquet of a Cab. Very impressed.
