If not for the moderate tannins, I might have guessed this was a Rhone! Lots of farmyard funk in the nose, including fresh beef. Sips like a juicy cab - very pleasant. Not too ostentatious, not too bland. A good quaffer.

Nice drawing. Pretty color. Deep plum. Nose is French all the way. Caves and grape skins. Red meats and minerals. Flavors are dry and pretty smooth. A nice earthy side. Berries that are just underripe. It’s a nice Bordeaux.

Lovely nose, has some deep red flavors, like a bouquet of flavors. On first sip, it felt fruit forward but had some spice on the end. The barrel really comes through. Felt well balanced, with some complexity. For sure could be a crowd pleaser.

Nose is very very berry. On the palate very acidic, needs to aerate. Light fruity flavor almost like a sangria. Nose is better than the palate. Aerating gets rid of the acidity

The finish is tart, going in the direction of sour cherries, with wood, and a little graphite and ash. Although the elements here were a little disjointed, this was still a good table wine, and an outstanding value.

Color of ruby with purple and brown note, clear. Nose of nice berry like raspberry and blueberry, a bit spice, cocoa, and a bit alcohol strength in nasal cavity. Taste is round and fruity, dominated by plum note, a bit zesty and spicy, and a touch of anise. Aftertaste of some tobacco leaves, medium long and dried fruits sweetness. Nicely made.
