Drank 9\25\20. Nice with lomo saltado.

Nose is medium minus with notes of soil, plum, and a bit of spice. On the palate, plums, cocoa nib, and earth. Finish is medium, with black fruit and a bit of wood spice. Medium tannins. Not a ton of fruit, but quite well balanced drink now lighter, and would pair well with beef, lamb, or even poultry.

Very simple and drinkable. No faults, slightly citric but it doesn't deter the pleasantness of the flavors. Good table wine, good with food, and lighter in flavor.

A Trader Joe’s special. Around $10 if I remember correctly. Waterlogged nose. Fairly fleshy mouthfeel. Decently lingering and soft finish. A decent cheap chicken.

Just starting to explore French wines. Acidic but smooth. Light body. Flavor not too complex. Easy to drink.

Attempted value play at Trader Joes. Pretty bad . . . Even for the price.

TJ. Super drinkable, not very fruity. Slightly acidic, loved it both with and without food. Went great with Italian meatballs and separately with aged cheddar.
