Someone asked me if this is cab or merlot dominated, and I said... “no idea, but if I had to guess, I’d say 50/50”... and now I feel like a boss because I was right. This is a good wine. Clove and concentrated fruit jam on the nose... almost pungent in this sense. After some time decanting, this thing smoothes out beautifully. Spice box palate, dry but round tannins. It’s at its prime right now.

Dried fruits, apricots, 6mo age on semillon only, nice toast flavor with little acid or dry component. Medium to full body. Delish.
