Purple black in color. Scents of raspberry and cranberry, and bramble. Mid-palate is quite dry. Leather, tobacco with medium-firm tannins. Finish was a little short.

First nose of dishwater, recedes for leather, chocolate, spices and aromas of grilled corn. Fat and warm on the palate with a sharp attack and good linger with finish with dry tannins.

What a wine ! Nose of coffee, chocolate, black currant, blackberry. Superb. It keeps evolving from secondary to primary aromas with every second it spends in the glass. The palate is powerful, wide with noble tannins, lots of fruits and a multi layered structure with lots of complexity. Black berry, cherry, a precise acid backbone and some salt and bitter chocolate in the end. Simply one of the best Bordeaux I've had.
