Pale gold; medium plus intensity aromas of yellow apple, honeysuckle, creamy lees, sour cream; dry, medium plus acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas with hint of toast; long finish, very good

This was awkward, White BDX with the style of a Marlborough SB. Simple and harmless. Give it to your daughter for poolside sipping.

2000 - 15 years old and approaching the end. Deep, amber-gold, slightly oxidized nose; the fruit has faded. Nice honeyed, old semillon character, but not much else.

Light straw color, nose of faint peach & melon, body full and round with a nice somewhat velvety texture that caresses the palate with good clean round finish.
Hey reviewers, if you are drinking a 15 year old white, it is really unfair to give it a an absolute “hard rating” rating as if it were in its prime. Delectable averages the scores w/o indexing for age, so an 8.3 for a 15 rear old wine really trashes the score people see initially.

We had the 2015 Vintage on 6/30/23. A nice white wine that paired well with shrimp that Cindy cooked so well. Tastes of grapefruit, honey suckle, apricot and melon highlight this medium bodied wine. This aged well and is sweeter than a Chardonnay. I would have more whites from Bordeaux.

best showing i’ve had for this wine so far; 6+ hour decant. very light and delicate on the leather tobacco leaf cigar profile which is nice, we’ll balanced.

Wow! Served blind I called this as a SHL Blanc. What a wonderful surprise…! Lush flowers, deep fruit, lavish oak. Just great.
