May 7th, 2018This is a surprising good wine for the price. Excellent with a pasta, Romano and pachetta cream sauce. Would not have normally tried this wine with this dish but it works die to the fruit and bit of age on the finish. Nice.

Classic veins in this wine from that highly rated warmer vintage. Well-balanced. Yum.

Perfectly mature. Soft pruney fruit, gingerbread spice, mellow chocolatey tannines. Dashes of oak, mocha and smoke, as well. Not overly complex, nor complicated. A fun wine.

Opened 4 years after the first bottle. The change is unbelievable and it rememberd me why I bought it. Drunked on a lazy sunday afternoon with no food pairing.

Intense, bold wine. Tannins still quite present. What a beast, but one you like to pet while watching tv. Wonderfull wine!
