The third of the wines served was this exquisite Sauternes that burst with apricots, honey and orange peel. Sometimes I wish I had the occasion to drink dessert wines more often. This was one of those moments.

Jun 29th, 2024Sweet ending to a wonderful day...sweet being the operative word...sweet beauty from the Carmel coloration to the honey, pear, white flower nose...honey pear apricot on the palate as well as the wonderful noble rot one would hope and expect. Beautiful long finish. A perfect way to close out the weekend.
