Star bright gold in the glass. Honey, grass, and white flowers on the nose. Lemongrass, citrus rind, and white flowers on the medium palate with medium plus acidity. Classic example of the Bordeaux Blanc appellation with a great QPR.

On the nose, striking bouquet of Bosc pear, meringue and benzine. Light notes of pear on the palate but otherwise a little ho-hum. Rich finish...likely due to the aging in the Sauternes barrels. Fun Bordeaux Blanc.

The 2105 is 50/50 blend of SB and Semillon. Nice mix of citrus and stone fruits, with green apple and lemon providing high-toned acidity. Touch a minerality. Crisp and quite intense. Good value.

May 14th, 2018A nice, crisp Bordeaux Blanc, 50/50 SB & Semillon. The wine is aged for 6 months in Sauternes barrels. The girls are digging this one on a late summer afternoon. I like it, too.
