Tasting of 1999 2nd growths. "The wine of kings, the king of wines." Red-orange colored edges. Tobacco and ripe plum aromas. Older leathery red fruit flavors, firm tannins, and long warm finish.

(18/20) Сложный аромат чёрных ягод, подкреплённый тонами множества разнообразных специй, нотами табака, кожи и шоколада. Высокая кислотность и ещё слегка вяжущие танины. Отлично!
