Bordeaux Supérieur Red Bordeaux Blend

Not good. Not at all.

Funky and rather rustic.

The 2009 has obviously had sufficient time to mellow. Low spice and tannins; wonderful black fruit! Plums, currants, cherries, even blackberries make their presence known. Still enough bite to stand up to steak, yet mellow enough to not need it. Vivé Le Bordeaux!

Still needs time - decant before enjoying. Super dark fruit flavors and a great aroma after opening the bottle

Another great WSJWC Bordeaux. Deep cassis aroma, medium full body and expressive but refined tannins in the finish. Understated French Oak.

Velvety #bordeaux with an excellent cassis-chocolate aroma. A bit thin and simple on the finish, though.

A little better than "meh." Not bad, but not a lot going on.

Nice body, but missing something I can't put my finger on... Everyday wine. Nothing too special.

It's actually the '09, but oh well...
