Enjoyed, but very complex and floral front. Would go well with rich beef or red sauce.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (24%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petite Verdot (5%). Dark Ruby/purple color. Aromas of blueberry, black currants, violets and tobacco. Black fruit (blackberry, black currant, black plum) on the palate with hints of chocolate, black licorice, baking spices and black pepper. Medium-plus bodied and a slight note of mineral/graphite on the long flavorful finish. Well integrated oak, creamy texture and lively acidity.

NOSE: smells like really good wine. Clear, juicy, berry compote, concentrated cassis - pencil box, mild lavender, exotic spices, minerals.
TASTE: wow, elegant and tasty - like the nose but more. At once fruity and approachable - but dense, iron and graphite, lavender, exotic spices, leather, flint, juicy blackberry and cassis, tar, tannins taste like bitter herbs and wood ash. Tastes “purple.” I would really love to try this with more age on it. Better than most other wines I’ve tried. 94.
