2015 Vintage 375ml bottle purple rim , currants, berry, cedar , firm tannins medium acidity

Another big wine from Giscours. This will require 15 years plus of patience.

1/22 the bottle open beautifully with complexity, wonderful, black, licorice fruit, but it did not soften overtime. Chucky tannins. This is a big wine probably needs time in the bottle 86.

Complex. Better with age.

Elegance. Perfumed blackberry. Black currant and cassis with a dash of pepper. Still too young, but not sorry to have opened. Tannins need time, but C’est la Vie. Delicious

Superb, powerful Bordeaux. All the richness you’d expect from a top class producer. Look forward you trying it again.

Excellent

Tasted after 6 hour decant. Massive wine. Great nose of plum, dried herbs, violets, tobacco box. Mouthfeel is silky with great cab fruit a touch of herbal and big long lasting tannins. Can’t wait to try tomorrow.
