Tasting Group. My 1st, group 3rd. BD distanced tasting @ Corison Winery. Ripe, peppermint, chocolate, ripe cherry. Bright cherry/blueberry in the flavors. Alive

2015 Vintage 375ml bottle purple rim , currants, berry, cedar , firm tannins medium acidity

Another big wine from Giscours. This will require 15 years plus of patience.

Another Southampton special! 2015 vintage. A delightful velvety, ever so slightly leathery, perfectly balanced jammy, Bordeaux of my heart. Thanksgiving/birthday opening!

Medium ruby , garnet rim . Nice juicy , cassis , blackberry and some red plum , red cherry notes . On the palate quite rich and round, with sweet summer fruits and a spicy tobacco tinged , grafite note . Quite sweet and decadent on the palate , quite rich . Balanced acidity and grippy , grainy tannin . This needs a bit more time , come back in 5-10 years and should show well a further 10 .

Yep more NY wine spectator

1/22 the bottle open beautifully with complexity, wonderful, black, licorice fruit, but it did not soften overtime. Chucky tannins. This is a big wine probably needs time in the bottle 86.

Complex. Better with age.

Elegance. Perfumed blackberry. Black currant and cassis with a dash of pepper. Still too young, but not sorry to have opened. Tannins need time, but C’est la Vie. Delicious

Superb, powerful Bordeaux. All the richness you’d expect from a top class producer. Look forward you trying it again.
