Paired with Lamb cavatelli 👌 2018 vintage on 10/'22. Decanted 1.5 hours.
Nose: spearmint, leather, oak, earthy with subtle vanilla notes.
Palate: medium plus acidity, likely from the Merlot. Medium tannins, nicely integrated. Black currants, tobacco, cacao, dried fig, bell pepper with a nice Long finish.

Good balance of Merlot and Cab Franc; dark fruits and plum flavors

2018 vintage. Spearmint and smashed blackberry/blueberry in the nose. Medium body. Darker than sin. Those silky/fine-grained tannins showing through with a tantalizingly delicate black plum/stone fruits finish that banks off the cheeks vs straight down the hatch. Classy and already showing waay better than the last tasting 11.26.21. It said yeah. 74% Merlot. 22% Cab Franc. 4% Cabernet Sauvignon.

2018 vintage. Muddled nose and okay finish. Beautiful medium body tho. A tad discombobulated currently. Lacking the focus of the 2016 that I tasted less than a week ago. Got the feeling it’ll escape from the self-imposed confines in the next two years and chart a defining course.
