2006. Fiercely modern. Voluptuous, creamy. Mint, toasted coconut, baker's chocolate, espresso; roasted and exotic. Showing development, but still has life ahead of it. Beautiful.

A nicely fashioned Bordeaux red, full of fresh red fruits, berries, nice length, tannins are still plentiful so a few more years should resolve this.

Purple red with a watery edge. Mint and eucalyptus nose. Well balanced in the mouth. Layer after layer sweet acid umami.

Really enjoyed this 2006 vintage. It’s drinking well. Mild berry and plumb with tobacco lingering in the background. Tannins are prominent but not overwhelming. A unique bottle with lots of character.

Rich nose of fruit and toasty oak, with a touch of talcum appearing with extended aeration. The oak is still too prominent on the palate and leads to a drying finish.
