2020 vintage. This seems much more Sauvignon Blanc dominated than usual, with the Sémillon character less noticeable. Very young colour. Tight, grassy, mineral. I believe I might have taken this rather for a Sancerre in a blind tasting. While I prefer the 2022 and 2017,it is still a very nice wine and good value too. Low alcohol 12,5%.

2017 vintage. I love my white Graves (and especially Pessac-Léognan) with some bottle age, and this 2017 Ferrande is absolutely lovely. Exotic and mineral at the same time, with subtle hints of honey and beeswax. A round mouthfeel with exotic fruit like pineapple, enhanced by fresh acidity and a lovely spiciness. Terrific value. Highly recommended if you love more evolved Bordeaux whites. Abv. 13%.

Pale straw yellow with a hint green. Mild aromas of lemon and grass. High acid, med low alc. flavors of green apple, lemon, green pepper and minerals. Wine seems mild all around. Not too strong in any area. Goes good with blue cheese.
