Magnum of 87 D'yquem drinking well now; reflects the soggy harvest conditions though the 200 ha site on the top of the hiil escaped most of the drizzle to ripen this more dilute but easy drink; not lacking sugar, just botrytis intensity; says winemaker Sandrine; deep not long; #sauternes #dyquem #sémillon #sauvignonblanc #bordeaut

Aug 22nd, 2015Not quite up to other years of d’Yquem but still lovely of course. Lacking some acid on the finish. Overall less density and length than I was hoping. But the palate entry and overall aromatics are still incredible.

Feb 15th, 2024Wonderful as always. And this is supposed to be an “off year”. Considering Yquem doesn’t produce at all in truly off years that just doesn’t jive. This is delicious - mouth filling, intense, excellent acid, crazy long finish.
