Pauillac Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot Blend

Magnum. Another that was lost in the shuffle. Too much fruit in everything else that this was another one that wasn't enjoyed as it should have been.

Warm red fruits. Smoked walnut, meaty. Bright acidity and resolved tannins. Drinking fantastic

Green apple, tobacco, smell of old granny’s cupboard. Good structure with well integrated tannins. But feels flattish

Excellent. Maturing quickly, can already taste a bit of leather

Smoky cassis and black currant. Medium to full body, with subtle tannins. Nice finish.

At mocool 2016, this was at beginning of drinking window. Superb. Vintage 2000.

I would not say this was classic paulliac but it was damn good. My first duhart and I was not disappointed. This wine was well put together and still had decent fruit and cedar slight graphite and nice acidity. A nice effort.

Drinking this bottle with friends - amazing full body and robust flavor. Deep blackberry and hint of pepper. LOVE

Pretty fantastic. Held up well.

Four hours in the decanter and the wine has not opened. Difficult to rate
