Great example of why Southern Rhône wines are so delicious. Peppery and juicy, luscious red fruits with enough tannic backbone to keep things in line.

My friend surprised me with this 1996.
I was not expecting much to from this offer. Full of currant (black) lively acidity! On top of the fruit fell it is full and tasty. The wine showed a bit agi ng color the nose reflected smokiness, coffee moka,peppermint. Very surprising...
