Drank 10\20\20. Nice with Lamb Kebabs.

Reidel vs Zalto Bordeaux glass tasting.

Reidel Vinum (approx $15\stem)

Graphite, black fruit, and earthy scents. Plum, black cherry, and earth flavors are backed by medium tannins. More red and black cherry, with a bit of oak on the finish.
3\21\8\4\3 +50 =89 pts.

Zalto Bordeaux Glass (approx $60\stem)

Nose a bit more floral, with violets, plum, and graphite. Plums, blackcherry, red cherry, oak, and earth on the palate. Seems to have a bit more lift. Finish similar to the Reidel.

3\21\8\4\3+50 = 89 pts.

Same score, but perhaps slightly preferable from the Zalto, and easier to pick out individual notes. Reidel seems a bit heavier. This wine was better a couple of years ago, and seemed to fade a bit after a couple of hours as well. Drink now.

Drank 9/1/18. Paired with red wine marinated lamb chops

Pleasant nose of red fruits, plumbs, and some earth and peppercorn. Plum and sour cherry flavors mix with some medium tannins. Well balanced. Long finish

3/21/8/4/4 +50 = 90 pts.

Drinking well now. May improve marginally. Will probably hold another 5-8 years.

Too sweet and oaky for a Bordeaux. Otherwise decently made.

Smooth and supple. Enjoyed it with salmon and pasta. Soft tannins. Mild acidity.

15.5+/20 (86+/100) Вино с ароматами спелых ягод чёрной смородины, яблок, морёной древесины и молочного шоколада. Довольно кислотное, танины интенсивные, вяжущие. Очень молодо. (08.09.17)

Very interesting wine with a great cost x benefit.
Great bordaux blend with 76% cab, 16.5% petit verdot and 7.5% merlot, resulting in a dark and shine violet wine. On nose, ripe fruit mainly from black/blueberries, cherry and oak. In mouth, you can feel the petit verdot giving the acidity, structure and tannins well smoothed by the oak aging well complemented by the power of the cab and the softness/fruitness from merlot with a mid end in mouth very pleasent and enjoyable.

It’s fine. Not my favorite at all. There’s a tartness that eases up after it’s been breathing for an hour or so.

Nice left bank bordeaux. Cab and petit verdot for some nice pepper. Rich in tannins for a dry finish. Needs a fatty dish - burgers, ribs or ribeye.

This one is interesting.. mid tone fruit with some smoke and cassis but not a ton of depth and structure on the palate.
