Starts off 90, finishes 82, we'll meet in the middle. This was quite ripe, featuring showy, up front fruit, that faded somewhat quickly leaving drying, charry oak behind. Opened quite nicely though, with currant, coffee, and plum, and a soft, appealing, sexy texture. Definitely warm though. 2 hours in, the thrill is gone. Drink up.
This is a good PnP pre-gamer with friends, not one to contemplate over the course of an evening.

Slightly dry, a bit smoky. Better as an aperitif rather than with food.

Deep into the dinner party wine lineup this delighted and would have been even better with 2-3 hours more decant.
