Walloping right out of the bottle. Settles down with some air. Drinkability, not complexity. Delicious with turkey chili.

80% merlot, 20% cab franc. Approachable, inky; cab franc shows through. Berry, chocolate and nutty character. Medium body, tight and dense fruit, chewy tannins.

Smells sweet with some hits of oak or tobacco. Medium bodied blend of merlot and Cabernet franc.

Had the 2015 vintage for Christmas 2021. Smooth and nice. Paired with a traditional pot-au-feu. Thanks G for the gift.

@Guard & Grace in Denver. Sommelier recommended this to start with. Nice full flavor. Perfect blend of dry with sweet notes

First glass berry flavor dry. One hour decant and this wine is great. Smothe makes your mouth salivate very easy drinking.

Fresh grass, maraschino cherry, minerally mouth, so pretty finish. Dries up and then melts.

Juicy, ripe fruit from the merlot works well with the herbal dark backbone of Can Franc. Layered, well built wine.

I really enjoyed this wine. Easy drinker, medium bodied and a nice dark berry taste.

2015 vintage. Opened on 27th April 2020, entering 4th phase of mco. Breathed for 30 to 45 minutes brought out the more floral scent, apple tinge. Easy palate, some light hawthorn and red berries. Like the high tannin. Long finish.
