A stunning bottle. So floral and so complex. Essence of Margaux. Graphite. Stones. Charcoal. Tar. Tobacco. Cassis. Just classic. Palate is so juicy, so clean and so elegant. Sappy and pure. Amazing depth and so clean. Lovely cassis and berries. Unreal wine. One more offer then it’s done! Amazing concentration and freshness. So sappy and energetic. Why can’t all Bordeaux be like this?

Gorgeous. Floral. Berries. Graphite, lead pencil, florals, violets, wild mint, Thai mint, super juicy, complex, pure, sleek, very refined tannins. Cigar box, ashtray, velvety tannins. Stanky minerals. Terrific complexity on the nose. Juiciness on the palate is a highlight.

Gorgeous nose of violets, cassis, black fruits, really floral, fresh potting soil, so pretty. Just wafting. Palate is ripe, juicy, tangy and fresh. Sappy and so pure. Youthful and taut but very measured. Really great showing for this wine. Black fruits just burst on the palate with such clarity and purity. Awesome stoniness on the finish. Very refined tannins. Long finish. Much room to improve.

Love 2015 in Margaux. Floral nose with loads of cassis and gravel. Really vivid. Lilies even. Palate has loads of freshness and dazzling purity. Huge fruit but wonderful acidity and so balanced. Ripe and juicy tannins. So pure. Terrific texture. Awesome length. Just a star. So open.

Big ripe yet gravelly nose. Cassis, berries, flowers, some smoke, white pepper, really complex and giving. Nuanced. Palate is terrifically juicy and ripe, with wonderful minerality and such complexity. Super duper deep. Clean and so fresh. Being 15 there is an extra fruit charge and astonishing length. I adore this wine. What a find. Such impressive and juicy structure and wonderful earthy sweetness. This is amazing.

Superb pairing with the pigeon, served cellar temp (slightly chilled on a balmy Berlin August evening); very finely blended velvety tannins and somewhat stanky earth flavors. Someone I know imports this to the US and I happen to have some of the '14 and '15 waiting for me at home!!!

Definitely a mineral balanced wine. Really bright cherries. Super fresh. Hint of licorice on the finish. Feels a bit young. Let’s see how this develops. Ok 45 minutes in this is starting to come out of its shell. The licorice is stepping up in a tango with the cherry. Mineral is forming a Ménage a trios. Some yummy spice on the finish. Let’s keep on tasting ...some pine ...
