A blend of 60% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 30% Syrah. Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet black fruits and earthy herb spice. On the palate complex flavors of cherry and blackberry, with oak notes, leather and forest spice. Full body, well balanced, fine tannins on a long finish, ending with a bit of spice, perfect now. Very Nice.

Really ripe and don’t think it will ever settle down. Cranberry sauce, plums, and olives. It’s too fruit forward and little hot for me, but not bad with food.

Philippe Cambie makes some great stuff and for $30, this is right up with the best. I'm always a fan of vaudieu and this 2013 is tops in a tough vintage.

Haven't had a wine from this producer in about 10 years. Nice to see all the garrigue-y goodness and savory herbs still have a good home here.

Ripe vintage really shows here. The fruit is tasty, but it was lacking other characteristics that you hope for from chtnf. Not overly hot, mild acidity, and showing no oak. Maybe with a few more years that fruit will settle down and show some secondary notes.

Asleep and closed when I tasted. Strawberry and cherry confiture laced with black licorice and medicinal herbs. Almost cough syrup-like but just in need of a decant. From what I can tell this is a solid CNDP with charm and layers that need breathing room. Want to taste again.
