Taste: black cherry, blackberry, tobacco, chocolate, old coffee, dried meat. 70% merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
5% new oak, 18 months in barrel.

Good value. Dark fruit and spice on the nose. Approachable on opening with plum, dark cherries, blackberries, undergrowth and a touch of graphite. Pleasant mouthwatering acidity at the front followed by moderate lingering tannins. Not a lot of layers but overall very good.
