After having this producer’s Gigondas bottle a few months back (and loving it), I kept meaning to check in on this.

This bottle is tired. Some nice flavors are hanging around, but it’s probably 3-4yrs past its best drinking window. Still has a really nice deep ruby red color in the glass and the aromas on the nose are solid. A lot of muddled raspberries topped with peppercorn and spicy jerky. Palate is quite thin...reveals more notes like an herbal/black tea finish, sour red fruit and black pepper shavings. Drink up.

2010. It seems my two bottles (first drank Dec 2022) were on the good side of the like it or hate it split with this one being even better integrated than my last. Pairing with some Memorial Day BBQ.

Not loving this vintage. Feels hot and disjointed. From magnum.

2010. So many differing opinions on this wine here and in CellarTracker. This bottle had big complex aromas and dark fruit flavors that gained spicy notes in the glass. Tannins weren’t too noticeable when paired with Ethiopian vegetables and beef tibs, but were still going strong when drunk on its own. Many were saying that their bottles were over the hill 5 years ago, so I may need to open my other bottle sooner than later…

Lots of fruit, lower acidity over the years. Integrated tannins.

Surprisingly fruity. Dark as shit. Maybe a bit mineral and a bit of spice. A spiced black plum? Something like that. Good for the price.

Funky, meaty, sour cherry, herb infused red berry, good acidity, drinking great right now. A true Rhône Syrah, showing its terroir beautifully. $20
