A lighter version, fresh but with classic Sauternes notes of dried fruits and honey - probably needs time in bottle to age and get better

Aug 14th, 2015Last of 2 bottles. Lead by apricot and honey of course but with a mouthwatering acidity as well. Really well done. It goes down without any hint of being cloying. Bravo.

Sep 26th, 2019Straw yellow, not yet a polished gold. A nose of ripe apricots, apples and hay. The palate is medium length with a pleasant acidity that nicely balances the sweet honey and caramel-like viscosity. This was very good value and my wife’s WOTN at the 2012 Bordeaux show, where we got them. 1st of 2 bottles.
