Not usually a fan of Burgundy's. This one surprised with a delicate floral nose followed by great tastes of strawberries and cranberries. The wine was nicely balanced and the finish showed nicely with great fruit, and some faint notes of smoke. A real treat as we did a direct comparison to a 2012 Walt Clos Pepe. Very different styles but both had great positive characteristics.

B+ typical of the varietal. Not the nose barnyard funk, slightly vegetal. On the palate dark fruit and barny. Great wine. Bottle. Eddy, NYC.

You know you're in Paris when ... you find this (and endless other choices) on shelves at the local grocery in 375's.
