A wonderful white wine made from Chenin Blanc, from France's Loire Valley. Anjou is the winegrowing district around the Angers in the Loire. This wine is bright gold in colour, perfectly balanced with a reserved palate and excellent acidity. Bright minerality, it has a whisper of butter tray buns followed by pomello, quince and finishing with lemon drops and orange blossom. Paired majestically with our Moroccan inspired dish of harrisa spiced crab bricks and fennel bulb & couscous salad.

Nov 26th, 2018Interesting how aromas evolved.... started with classic floral aromas, honeydew melon and a bit of cat pee.. and evolved to more straw, ash or that infamous new tennis balls smell! low alcohol ( I disagree with the label), low acid... on the cusp of being called off dry ... high viscosity, greasy with along elegant finish
