Yet another example of how delicious and affordable S. French whites can be. Tinged with green almond and basil, orange, stone fruit, sweet flowers, white pepper, phenolic and stony minerality. Great weight and acid balance, worked well at the table. 50 VRM 20 ROU 20 MAR 10 VIO

On the nose; bruised red apples, pear, lemons, stone fruit, grapefruit with a touch of sugar, hay, soft minerals and yellow lilies. Muted pear, bruised red apples that yields immediately to a fairly strong presence of nice spices that rises in intensity off the palate, overripe pineapple, touch of ginger, touch of stone fruits, touch of honey, palate is a touch oily, yellow florals, saline, gritty minerals, high acidity and a round, rich, polished finish. Lascaux translates to limestone. Photos of the property. 50% Vermentino, 20% Roussane, 10% Viognier.

The soul of Languedoc. The best way for me to remember is warm soil. Very mineral nose, but feels like a warm mineral bath than a cold spring. Hint of ripe citrus, and supposedly garigue.would go for it if I'm in mood for rounded, not so chilled white :)
