This cappuccino capped black beauty, loses its perfect coiffure, opting for a painted tonshure of ridiculously minuscule bubbles, and in the process, revealing outlines of Lascaux bovine entities and fossil jawbones. Grab hold, Samson, this thing kicks ass! Coffee breath wafts from its maw, but the palate is impeccable, evoking the richest beans, caramel backdrops, the lightest pepper, and vanilla. Wake up, you hairless milquetoast, the Philistines want to drink! — 8 years ago
Nose: rich nose of sweet honey, orange blossom, stone fruit, white rose... The floral component balance very well the fruit one. After flowers, stone fruit comes
Palate: medium body but still very light, good acidity level - nice citrus then flowers note, honey. Drinkable but still complex enough.

Delicious. First of the 2016 arrivals, and hopefully a good indicator of the incoming Rosés. 40% Cinsault, 30% Syrah, 30% Grenache. Nice Rhone bite, but with lovely melon and berry notes. 13% ABV — 8 years ago
Deep baked dark fruit on the nose. Bloody and jammy in the mouth with lots of garrigue and afternotes of charred meat. A bit of green olive. — 9 years ago

Very tannic when we first tried it but mellowed after a few hours. — 6 years ago
