Loved this. 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 10% Carignan. Not big, very pretty. SM

Raspberry beat juice meets off the floor dirty. Interesting enough to like but its hard to tell if this has much life left in it or its just in a dumb period of aging.

Syrah, Grenache, Carignan blend with herbal dark berries, sweet dates, and spiced dark fruit candy. Rich with deep flavors of milk chocolate, mocha, and black pepper. I was warned and further read online that this wine changes quickly so drink accordingly. I agree it does, but I think it gets more interesting (nuttier, riper) with time to digest some oxygen. Bought on clearance from Austin Wine Merchant.

A bit of vanilla and caramel with the fruits on the nose. Flavor os very licorice-y. Snappy. Pretty good stuff. A true French Syrah-ish thing. Tannic.

Scorched fruit with alcohol burn. Better with some food, but still disappointing

Needed to be drunk yesterday, but still lovely. Multilayered, berries, dusty mahogany, rich without weight. Our wedding red!!
