Slight bitter finish, pretty good structure, alcohol lasts a bit longer than other flavors

really good wine—balanced w good acidity, not at all alcoholic or hot, lots of finesse—lovely and complex nose and palate. Great impression. Long future ahead. First time w this producer.

Also reserved nose with hints if anise or tar? Again good balance and structure. Again shorter finish than #1 Gordons tasting 4-26.

Honeydew melon, cinnamon, cloves, bitter orange. Has promise but slightly bitter finish is not totally pleasant at the moment. Better as it opens up -- will try again in a few years.
