Stewed dark fruit, cinnamon, clove, wet forest floor, leather, tobacco. Fantastic and complex with medium acidity smooth tannins and a med+ finish. Quite lovely.

Aug 24th, 2015Hard not to like but this is a less expensive one and the one that I like that's only $4 or 5 more is s lot better (Domaine Jean Deydier). The 2009 is a lot more candied raspberries w spice and this had a bit of over ripe cherry.
