Deep ruby, thin pink rim pretty noticeable wide tears. Quite spicy and generous ripe blackberry , dark cherry and plum notes , but also touch of grafite and brine . On the palate ripe dark fruit but nicely judged acidity , and fine quite noticeable tannins . Feels quite round and juicy , there is a touch of warmth from the alcohol , but there is enough balance and bite. Commendable length and ok balance on the finish , just missing a touch of refinement and refreshment. Drink now with food, will age ok over the next 5 years or so.
