A contemporary pinot that requires some bottle age. Beautiful oak treatment on the nose and palate. Superb, textured mid-palate. Uncharacteristically fruit-forward, finishes sweet - beauty, and I don’t normally like pinots from Santenay.

This 2007 is beautifully balanced. I can smell the musty cellar where I imagine this wine aged. Very drinkable. Enjoyed with fresh clams from Mexico.
