Feb 26th, 2020Smelled a bit sulfuric. Could never determine for sure if it was bad wine or flawed wine, but most likely the latter. Otherwise, got some black pepper notes from it, dark fruits, pretty short finish. Nothing exciting. Taste was not as bad as the smell, though.

Nose of cherry, sour cherry, blood/meat. Concentrated palate with cherry, a nice acid frame and spiky tannins. Nice balance though thanks to all this fruit.

Lovely medium bodied gamay; soft and straightforward when opened, it gained complexity the next night. Delicious. 2015 vintage.
