Classic Bordeaux structure, taste and feel, with some lovely notes of violet, wet stone and purple fruit. Still somewhat austere and tannic. But developing nicely. The bouquet opens quite a bit after about an hour. Will probably peak in a few years.

Just great. Drinking great right now. Balances fruit, tannins and acid. Nice development too.

Jun 7th, 2013Not very different from how it was drinking in December 2016, although tannins have mellowed somewhat. Good structure, notes of violet and wet stones. Chewy and full bodied.
