Lots of tannin, acids early. Opened up after an hour and was more pleasant.

Not much on the nose. Some decent spicy dark fruit, prunes and black cherry with a touch of earth. The subtle fruit, however, is marred by a bitter, over-oaked finish that throws the whole taste off balance.

Great entry level Boudreaux.
Needs time to unwind but when it does, dark fruit, cocoa,leather, cedar and terroir are unleashed.

Dark Ruby color. Full bodied with lots of dark bramble fruit, strong tannins and a medium long finish. Good value every day drinking Bordeaux.
