Mercurey Pinot Noir

Dank decaying red fruit, staw bale, campfire ash and crushed violets. Silky tannin and nice acidity. But finish is a bit short. Pleasant but sorta falls apart at the end

Fragrant Pinot nose lots of young fruit that starts to change taste. Like tasting multiple grape jelly but in a good way. Clau likes eggrolls 😂

Dark and powerful. Some interesting underbrush/earthy notes, but lacks finesse and complexity, heavy on the oak. Not my favorite style.

Nice wine for the price. A little barnyard, but very pleasant. Nice body. Cranberry, cherry with a nice herbal note. Dry finish but with light tanins. Eat with light tomato or vegetable pasta, pizza, salmon with darker rub. Really opened up later with darker fruit coming forward.
