Brilliant #Cahors. Love revisiting this bottle.
Dark, almost opaque color with little room to the edge. Nose is rose on top of rose on top of raspberry. Palate taste of wet flower petals, strawberry licorice and slight mint. Tannins are quick and fragile due to the age. Peaking.

Nice acid and tannin structure, lots of flavor, very fruity, rounded off with fresh cut timber. Some funk on the nose but not too much on the palate.

This was real nice. Not very much experience with French wines, but I suspect different oak yields a unique character. Sweet, not a lot of peppery spice.

Soft pink flowers, Concord grape, herbaceous and earthy on the nose. Dry, subtlety fruity with slight parsley on the tongue. Very intriguing and complex #wine. #mabec #france

This one comes from the malbec wave that we got in France. Cahors offers very good malbec cepage wine. This bottle aged quite well. Delicious with strong cheese. I recommend a good roquefort. Sounds basic but still magical to me!
