A lovely Bordeaux from the less famous AOC of Lalande de Pomerol, on the right bank just on the North of Pomerol, the wine matures beautifully and is elegant and smooth. Deep red with brown rim, complex and elegant nose of black fruits, coffee, leather, tobacco, tea, gravel and mushrooms. Medium body, smooth and elegant, the tannins have soften, yet still present and the acidity is balanced and will carry the wine until the end of this decade. My score 88, drink to 2020.

My first 2015 Bordeaux. If this represents the Right Bank vintage we're in for real treats! Rich, medium to full bodied but showing elegance where it's needed. Good stuff!
