Very French, kinda Bretty but complex and quite drinkable

Very accessible at this early phase. Nice black and red fruit, floral and graphite undertones. Tasted quickly but would have loved to watch it evolve in the glass.

Raspberry grenache flavours dominate with good spice and fine tannins, medium length finish. Very drinkable. Interesting to compare with Teusner’s Avatar same composition but 10% of the Syrah swapped for Cinsault. From memory the Avatar has more weight and an earthy/savouriness to it.

Southern Rhone / Cotes du Rhone; Grenache : 40%,  Mourvèdre : 30%, Syrah : 20%, Cinsault : 10%, 21 euro, $29.

Slightly sparkly. Very good with food.

Beautiful with air

A baby but luxurious with multiple layers of fruit. We decanted and it continues to evolve.

2012 vintage. Excellent wine at a good price from renowned wine maker

Quite a good nose. Full elegant black fruit with a touch of grassiness.
