Highly floral (violet) on the nose. Medium acidity with a palate of cassis and blackberries. Grippy tannins that need a bit more cellaring to relax. Decomposed leaves on the finish with a touch of salinity. If you are urgent prepare yourself a steak and it should pair well and help smooth out the tannins.

2016 was delicious. Dry not sweet. Good tannins. No berry.

Very good. Or maybe I drink very good Bordeaux wines too rarely. An oak, tobacco, but also: a juniper, black cherry. Deep with mild acidity.

Don’t understand the love for this. Maybe it’s just too young. What I got was mostly earthiness and tannin.

Excellent. Not too heavy for a Bordeaux, some elegant fruity notes, very drinkable.

Light bodied. Spicy. Smooth and long finish
